Lane Dotson
I have been day trading futures since 2013. That is more than 13 years in the markets, tens of thousands of hours charting and backtesting, and over a decade spent building my own indicators to test my market theories, which eventually grew into Trend Friend. I am a certified charting addict, and I built Still Funded because the prop firm site I needed while doing my own research did not exist, so I made it.

Background
Trading was never a side interest for me, it is the thing I have put the reps into for over a decade. I spent 10+ years building and refining my own TradingView indicators because I wanted to prove or kill my own theories about how price actually moves, not just take someone's word for it. That work turned into the Trend Friend indicator suites, and the same test-it-yourself habit is what runs Still Funded now. If a firm claims something, I want the receipt, and if a rule looks trader-friendly on the sales page, I want to know what it actually does to a live account before I tell anyone it is fine.
My Experience With Prop Firms
I have put real money and real hours into prop firms, on both sides of the outcome. That is exactly why this site scores rules the way it does.
Passed Evals
I have passed prop firm evaluations, so I know what it takes to trade within a firm's rules under a live drawdown instead of on paper.
Failed Evals
I have failed them too. Nothing teaches you what a trailing drawdown or a consistency rule really does to your trading faster than breaching one.
The Rules, From the Inside
Drawdown methods, daily loss limits, consistency math, activation fees. I have traded under these rules, not just read about them, so the reviews here explain what a rule does to you, not just what it says.
Countless Research Hours
I have spent countless hours digging through firm terms, payout evidence, and business registrations to figure out which firms are trustworthy and which rules favor the firm. That research is the backbone of this site.
Trend Friend
Trend Friend is my indicator business, professional TradingView suites built for reading trend, order flow, and price action. It came first, Still Funded came after, and the two fit together naturally: this site helps you pick a firm and get funded, and the indicators are one of the tools I use to read the markets day to day. If you want the full story on that side, it has its own about page.
